What you will need to run an experiment:

2	5 gal glass or seamless plastic aquaria with high sides
1	Air bubbler pump
4	Air stones
3ft	Tygon clear plastic flexible tubing – 1/8 inch inner diameter
2	Submersible thermometers (or HOBO temp loggers)
1	Refractometer, salinometer or hydrometer
2	Plastic shoe boxes with lids (or other holding container)
1	Large bucket
	Freshly collected seawater (or artificial SW, like “Instant Ocean”)
	Labeling tape
	Krazy glue
	Thin flathead screwdriver or Exacto knife with blade
	Collecting permit for crabs (or access to live mussels from seafood market)
	Heavy gardening gloves for collecting crabs
	Rulers
	Paper towels or tissues
