Conference Goals

To support and engage the Teacher Research Experience (TRE) program community by:
  • Identifying operational and evaluation best practices
  • Establishing connections and partnerships between programs
  • Collaborating to meet individual project challenges


Main Conference Themes

  • Evaluation: program evaluation, data collection, establishing program goals, leveraging partnerships, utilizing professional development
  • Sustainability: collaboration, leveraging partnerships, funding, supporting alumni, operational best practices, mentoring and training, scalability
  • Transfer: · professional development, creating and using deliverables, supporting alumni, student impacts, teacher impacts, fostering scientist and teacher expectations
