LESSONS FOR THE CLASSROOM

The New Challenger Series” are lesson plans developed by the College of Exploration for use in middle school and high school classrooms.  They are multidisciplinary in nature, and are aligned with the National Science Education Standards.  The lessons aim to help students gain an appreciation of the history of ocean exploration, help them make comparisons of ocean science methods and technologies, and understand the social aspects of at-sea science.
