Introduction:

I'm thrilled to be a part of this conference for two reasons: one is to get correct information out about El Nino and the second reason is to learn about online conferences and the advantages challenges of them.
I am the Project Specialist at the USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies. I work on the mainland USC campus but make frequent trips out to the Wrigley Marine Science Center, our research facility on Catalina Island (about 22 miles off the coast of Southern California).
My interests lie in thematic education,both formal and informal, telepresence in education, and ecotourism.
