I know a number of folks here are interested in how learning online in a workshop like this works. We have had several questions about how virtual communities come together and what are "attractors".  

I thought it might be useful to engage in some discussion and reflection here about learning online.  

I am personally interested in marine education and how we can develop programs to reach out to wide varieties of audiences on marine and ocean related subjects.  

Please give some thought to questions you have about the process and organization of online learning, especially on marine/ocean topics and raise them here. Lets see what we are thinking about.
