squirrel_smallThis is likely a glasseye snapper (Heteropriacant hus cruentatus) caught in a flash photo at night.  Snappers generally hide in the crevices of the reef during the day and emerge at night to feed as carnivores.  Another reddish group of fish who are common on the reef and are also cryptic (like to remain hidden) are the Squirrelfish
