Cowfish (Ostraciontidae is the family) along                                                                                                      with the trunkfish are known as boxfish due to their bony box surrounding the entire body.

Instead of  the ususal skeleton of a bony fish they have much the same shape of a skeleton as they have when they are alive.  They have very heavy jaws that are adapted for crushing shells of their prey.
