The CBATS Lesson Planner
The CBATS LessonPlanner provides an on-line form that you can use to create lesson plans based on the BATS oceanographic data and other resources on the CBATS website. We will add selected  lesson plans to the CBATS web pages once they have been submitted and vetted for content accuracy, grade-level appropriateness, and pedagogical merit by the CBATS design team. The outline for the form is based on materials presented in Teaching Secondary School Science (L.W. Trowbridge and R. W. Bybee, 1996. Prentice Hall, 6th ed., 481 pp.).

Although no single form could ever completely fulfill every teacherīs unique classroom situation, we trust that the general outline provided here provides a practical, usable, and flexible framework to help guide you in preparing lesson plans that can be adapted by other CBATS teachers to meet their  individual needs.
