Overview of the Educational Experience

The answers to the research questions need to be placed in context; therefore, it is necessary to begin with an overview of this particular learning experience. First, is a description of the course from researcher observations. This description of the overall course reflects the technical and instructional aspects, which provide a general picture. Following that is a section that describes the online learning experience using the words of the students. These insights were obtained from their online dialogue as they interacted throughout the semester and in response to specific reflective activities about this experience. These sections should give the reader an adequate perspective on the whole online environment.
